With the introduction of the Mk8 gearbox in 1969 this was the only factory available side plate for the VW cased gearboxes until the advent of the Mk9 in 1973. We also machine our castings to suit Mk9 drive shafts. Material is LM25TF heat-treated aluminium.

As fitted to the HD4 and 5 gearboxes of 1963. With different machining detail some were fitted to Mk4-7 gearboxes. Used, amongst others, in Brabham and Cooper installations. We also machine our castings to suit later Mk8 and Mk9 components. Material is heat-treated magnesium.

First fitted to the Mk4 gearbox of 1963, they were also used on Mk5, 6 and 7. Lotus produced their own version to suit the Mk8 gearbox of 1969, to fit in the Lotus 61. We also machine our castings to suit later Mk8 and Mk9 components. Material LM25TF heat-treated aluminium.
